How to apply for it?


The necessary documentation:

In addition to the kit (module 1 and 2 correctly completed):
- Photocopy of the passport pages showing the personal details, renewals, stamps, visas
- Photocopy of the stay\residence permit valid;
- Criminal record certificate (Court)
- Certificate of pending proceedings (Court);
- The certificate of residence (family status or self-certification from Municipality)
- Documents certifying the possession of sufficient resources (Statement of income for the previous year (CUD / Unique) which result in no less than the annual social income)
- Certificate for the Italian language level A2


Furthermore what can be useful for the compilation is:

- The tax code (codice fiscale)
- To state the residence for the past 5 years
- Declaration of hospitality or fabricated sale or lease
- To those employed: last paycheck or residence contract and the declaration of the employer (with a photocopy of his ID card) certifying the continuation of the employment
- To domestic workers: declaration of the employer stating the employment relationship, the duration, the monthly salary, photocopies of receipts (front and back) of contributions from the previous year
- The self-employed: company certificate issued by the competent Chamber of Commerce, or license, registration or register
- To free professionals non-members of the Chamber of Commerce: certificate of attribution of VAT
- The cooperative members: paycheck, statement of the President or the legal representative regarding the employment relationship and its duration


The submission of the application:

The request of the EC residence permit for long-time residents (former residence card) consists delivering the yellow postal kit to the post office.
The envelope will be delivered open.

You will need:
-  The payment of the € 200
- The payment of 16,00 euro of the revenue stamp to be affixed on the forms
- The payment of 30 € to be paid at the counter for the postage envelope by registered mail
- The payment of EUR 30,46 for issuing a residence permit electronically
